Well it’s official. Les has christened the Launch Pad by performing a piece from his hilarious one man show Christmas in Bakersfield. Tons of people came in from off the street. What fun! Go see him at Goethe. What a great guy, and here is the story of the hour.

Courtney McLean is from New York. Last year she performed at the first CapFringe and loved it! She loved it so much that, when performing at the Minnesota Fringe, she met Les Kurkendaal from Los Angeles and told him to come to CapFringe 2007. And they both did!!! you know what this means? Word is spreading across the country about CapFringe! Dare I say Fringe World Domination?

Les is a charming, hilarious guy, and I am thrilled that he has come here all the way from Hollywood. Well, some people say that Washington is like Hollywood for ugly people.
